Charlie Palmer Steak, RenoI can’t believe that it’s time for a new issue of Edible Reno-Tahoe again! This shoot was a challenge to light, but a lot of fun, and Executive Chef Dave Holman was super-easy to work with and a master in the kitchen… and what a kitchen they have back there at Charlie Palmers! If you’ve not eaten at Charlie Palmer’s Steak at the Grand Sierra Resort and you like then I’d highly recommend it, the food is stunning! As usual you can find the tear sheets below, followed by my favorite shots (not all of them make the magazine).

La Ferme, GenoaAnother bumper issue for me for Edible Reno-Tahoe with 12 pages of photos. My personal highlight has to be the La Ferme shoot out in Genoa, what an incredible place! Thanks for the thoroughly enjoyable afternoon guys! Oh, and special thanks to editor Amanda for sending me on another superb assignment Read more… |

Steve, Caroline and FamilyIt’s that time of year… time to start thinking about photos for holiday cards again. Steve and Caroline are great personal friends of mine, so it’s always very relaxed, very easy going and a really organic experience with the shoot ideas just popping up from all angles. This year we decided to go to the quad on the UNR campus in Reno in search of autumnal colors, and while the trees still had some way to go (colorwise) the location is superb, a photographer’s delight, complete with post shoot Awful Awfuls waiting across the street. Here’s a few picks from shoot. Thanks again guys, hope you like the photos! Read more… |
